Starting Point

The initial scan showed extensive decay, heavy wear and multiple failing teeth across the upper jaw, and only a small number of teeth were suitable for retention. The bite had also collapsed, placing added strain on the remaining teeth.

Treatment

Six implants were placed in the upper jaw to support a full-arch fixed bridge. A provisional bridge was fitted first to assess the bite, function and aesthetics before the final prosthesis was fabricated.

Final Result

The final bridge restored a natural smile, improved chewing function and re-established a stable bite against the patient’s natural lower teeth. As the bridge is fixed in place, it can be cared for in a similar way to natural teeth with good oral hygiene and regular dental maintenance.
